Durin chooses silence. He would have been relatively unknown for all of his life if not for his streak of pranking in high school-- the formerly trouble-making boy, who had deceived everyone into believeing his mischevious spirit had been quelled, suddenly burst out into chaotic existence after pranking an upperclassman he didn't like. It drew quite a bit of noise toward his character, especially once his goal of pranking every student in school was announced. April Fool's was dreaded. Doors were feared. Water fountains were placed on lockdown, and bathrooms were boarded up. Guidelines were placed against even standing near Durin, and the circle of social media surrounding students attending his high school buzzed with new information and lists of the likliest next targets. The sheer force of will everyone had summoned to avoid Durin had also left with not a single person ever knowing his name-- and thus, he was dubbed 'Prank Guy'. Many speculated what his real name could have been, as it was assumed learning it by listening to the attendance was bad luck. However unruly he seemed, Durin had unsettlingly sparkling grades. He even once claimed he loved homework unironically. If not for his primary school past of biting other children on-sight, his 'reassuring smile' that looked (and still looks) like the glare of a serial killer, and his sudden aherence to the role of 'Prank Guy', he would be approachable. Pathetically shy, even! After years of being the bad guy, Durin had decided to mend his ways through Kindle's help, the only person curious enough to pull the tail of the beast. Now, as a first-year college student, Durin has dropped the act of pranking, especially after his biggest stunt yet on his final day of high school. He's just as quiet and just as silly, and his bouts of mischief are still frequent, but they have been rightfully toned down. It must either be because he's run out of ideas, really changed his ways (doubtful), or because work has been getting... quite 'classified' lately.
