Aurae is dead. However, tragically, she is a twin-- meaning that she has yet to leave this mortal plane, existing as a ghost alongside her younger sister, the only one who can see her (during the day, at least (and on some occasions (ok it doesn't really happen that often))). As a child, she spent a lot of time with her sister, Adium, and they were inseparable. That is, until they entered school and Aurae was suddenly desperate to be seen as cool. Aurae soon found out that Adium was not cool, and she couldn't bear the idea of being ridiculed for being her friend-- let alone her sister. Or her twin. The idea of being best friends forever was quickly abandoned, and both Aurae and Adium put on the ruse of rivarly, never letting anyone know they were related, trying their best to look as different from each other as possible. They often went home hating each other only slightly less than they did at school. As Aurae grew to be a member of society, she worked very hard. It was the ultimate goal to be seen as an astounding figure in the kingdom, and landing a job in the Palace made her feel high and mighty. However, the eventual Fall came about, and the entire kingdom was ravished while she was on vacation. She survived the ordeal, and eventually gathered other prominent survivors to attempt rebuilding their broken world (because keeping a reputation doesn't stop, even for a massive nuclear power plant nearly kills everyone). While traversing into the neon red remains of Eden to clear the place up, she was approached by the twin she had neglected for years. It was never either of their intentions to fight to the death, but you know how things are. While they roughed it out, a stray chunk of rock rammed into Aurae and killed her. Now she is forever tied to Adium's side, and gets rather lonely.
